The Yankees And The Phillies

Well it appears the 2009 MLB World Series has been set! The 2009 MLB season is nearly over. This season has still been over shadowed by the steroid scandals. It probably will continue to haunt the league for years to come unless something is done about it.

But for now fans should and can put all that aside and enjoy watching this years two best teams go head to head.

For the Phillies they are back again so quickly. For the Yankees they are finally back after spending a billion or so dollars of the last six plus years to make it. The last time they were here was 2003.

If you can, going to a playoff or World Series game is an amazing event. The stadium is packed, the fans are on the edge of their seats for 9 innings, and your favorite team is one step closer to being champs.

So if you get a chance, head to a game, take the family and enjoy. There will be so much more to see taste and enjoy so get there early and make a day of it! More than likely you will not regret it in the least. You could make some memories that last a life time.

When did the average baseball fan start caring more about TV ratings then the actual game itself?

Jim M asked:

All I keep reading on here is how bad the ratings are going to be for the World Series between the Phillies and Rays. Does everyone on here work for FOX or something? When did how high the ratings are become more important then the teams that are actually playing? Enlighten me all you baseball experts on Y!A.
