Singing The National Anthem

Many of us from little league, through high school and beyond always used to stop before the game and sing the national anthem. In a country that seems to be changing, these MLB players would not have a place to play and the salaries they do if it were not for their freedoms here. It would also not be possible if it were not for the thousands of men and women that gave their lives for the freedoms we enjoy currently. If everyone’s hearts are in it, then what a salute to a place where this can all happen freely.

So the next time you’re at a ball game, consider during the song what it means to be free and to be able to enjoy the things you love like watching someone play ball.
