Drawing in Fans

When a team is struggling, the owners of that team must find ways to draw fans in to see the game. In a tough economy, it can be difficult for people to spend their good, hard earned money on a ball game when the team seems to really be struggling. Combine that with conflicts making the news within the organization, and the fans may even stay away from the park more.
So usually it will be a series of promotions set up to entice fans to the stadium. The item given away may seem really small in comparison to the amount of money someone spends on the game, but sometimes they really work, especially if kids are involved. Discount nights can be great, offering half price tickets in certain areas. It may be wise for teams to come up with cheaper parking if they can. Parking costs a ton and is usually factored in by most fans when it comes to whether or not they will go to a game. So are you planning on heading to a ball game soon? If not, what are your reasons for not attending if you usually do?
