Many of us diehard baseball fans out there remember the love of collecting baseball cards. -Trying to get the best cards at the time, The 1983 Topps Rookie card for Wade Boggs, or a 1985 Rookie of Kirby Puckett. Back then the best cards were really Topps, then Donruss hit the scene with Fleer. Now times have changed. Collecting cards has become a huge business. No longer are there just a few card companies, but several. The types of cards have also increased.
Inserts are the big deal now; it used to be collecting a set, now it is trying to get the rare insert cards. With the changes prices have also increased. But for the baseball fan, collecting still can be loads of fun.

It used to be so exciting for car collectors when Beckett Monthly came out each month. It was a great time to look through the magazine to see what cards went up or down in value. Did your favorite cards see an increase? Did the entire set go up in value? Times have not changed much at all. Collectors still cannot wait to see what happens next with the value of their cards.
Beckett Monthly is still the preferred card collector’s magazine. Of course now, like everyone, they are online. Collectors can keep track more often than just each month on the changes to the value of their cards.
Sure, times have changed, but baseball cards will always be same ole baseball cards in the eyes of some people.

Gong to a big league MLB game can be quite exciting. Depending on where you live and what park you attend, the sounds and smells of the game can be amazing. The food can be one of the biggest attractions for some fans. Today of course the ballpark dogs, nachos, sodas, peanuts and popcorn are still there. But some parks have added so much more. They have added pizza, bratwurst, burgers, ice cream and tons of other foods.
The sounds of the game are also amazing. Who does not love hearing the crowd roar or the crack of the bat when the ball hits it?
These are what make the game great to many. So what was the best thing you remember at your last trip to a ball game?

It seems like every ball game there are fans, including lots of kids, who love to try and get a break and get an autograph of their favorite baseball players. At the same time they want to get an autograph. What an amazing way to preserve forever those childhood memories of the games you once watched as you cheered on the home team.
You did not care which player’s autograph you got, but just wanted to get one, anyone no matter what. Over time your ball slowly filled up with players from your favorite team. Those times can continue on every time you head to the ballpark. These memories can last a lifetime. Who would have thought something so simple could help you to retain so many fond memories.
