As the years roll on, people less than they ever have will listen to a baseball game on the radio. Back in the days of no TV though, that is how thousands and the majority of fans heard the games.
If you have ever heard one of these old broadcasts, they can be quite enjoyable to listen to. The excitement that surrounds the game as played out on the radio was really quite amazing. They were very different than the way games are broadcasted now.
Listening to a game can still be better than missing it all together though. Of course people today have TV’s on their phones, in their cars, and just about any place they can put one.

When I say seasons I mean not so much the year the games are played but the season as far as spring and summer. The spring time and the summer time are great times to play baseball. The air has cleared from the winter, the rains may end up coming, but the temperatures are perfect.
Of course there is the occasional time up north when a game will be freezing from a freak winter storm, or in the fall when the season ends. But for the players, playing when they do it really seems to be the only option.
Yes, this seems the best time to play ball. Could you imagine them playing baseball in the snow? I guess they could if they used a colored ball.

What is it about blooper films? They must feed the side of us that loves to laugh. Who will ever forget Jose Canseco trying to catch a ball at the wall and it bounced off his head over the fence, LOL? These blooper reels can be great to watch though. It can show the funny and lighter side of the sport. It also will show that these players are far from perfect.
Do you remember any big time bloopers? What about the Red Sox, the easy ground ball going under the legs of the first baseman and losing them the game? I guess sometimes these bloopers are just not that funny, or are they?

Baseball bloopers can be a great thing to watch and laugh about over the years. They can start out with kids in little league. Watching young kids that are new to the game can bring about a few surprises when they play. Some of those may be running around the bases the wrong way, playing in the dirt during a game, hitting the ball and not running afterwards or not realizing how many strikes or outs there are. If you have been to a little league game or two then you know what we mean.
As kids get much older, the bloopers will certainly lesson, yet will continue. In the pros we see them rarely but thanks to the media they play us the bloopers for a season, catching them all at once. Many never forget Jose Canseco running to the wall on a deep pop fly that was hit, only to miss catching it, having the ball them bounce off of the top of his head for a home run. It was a painful and quite embarrassing blooper for him, but for us, a nice comic relief in the middle of a long season. Looking for some bloopers now, head online and do some searches, there are bound to be tons of videos with some of baseballs not so finer moments.
