Baseball games can really take a long time to play out. Then you have to imagine it takes time to get to the game and home again. In all you can spend five hours or more doing the whole deal. So why not make a day of it. You can always go early, watch batting practice, and visit some of the features the ballpark has to offer. The kids will certainly enjoy the time you spend more than you could imagine. If you’re able to go in a small RV, you could always go back and take a small nap afterwards or kick back and take a load off before the game. The next time you go to a game, don’t rush it. Enjoy the slowness and peacefulness that is within the game.

If you’re a diehard baseball fan and live in an area, well, where your team never seems to cut the mustard, you often wonder probably why there is even a team in the first place. You head to the game, there is plenty of good parking and it is not hard to find really good seats in the infield area. This is a sign that your team is not doing well that season. And if it is worse than that, then it is a sign that your home town team has struggled for years. Struggling teams over time tend to lose the support of the local community. At some point people say enough is enough. Why spend good money, especially in a struggling economy, just to see a team that loses much of the time. Now nobody wants to be a fair weather fan. That is not what we are talking about here. We are talking about fans losing confidence over a long period of time. There is also little you can do about it. News reporters may complain about the team, it may be losing money, but sometimes owners just do not feel that it is worth investing too much money into something already dead. But try not go give up too much hope; the more fans cheer on the team the better the chance that it can sometimes spur them on to rally!

Sometimes teams love to give promotional junk to the fans. One of those promotions was the baseball. No it was not a Rawlings baseball like they used in the game. No it was really not the kind of ball you could actually play with. But it sure was nice to get.
The truth is though that giving a ball to a ton of fans that planned on drinking during the game was probably not smart. After a few drinks, a few bad calls and the home team being down 10 points, off flew the baseballs on the field. Once one went they all went. This giveaway could be just as bad as the free real size baseball bat!

There it is again, over in right field. And look they stopped the game for it. It is the ever popular, sometimes annoying beach ball toss around in the stands? Why do they stop the game? Well sure, every game has its own distraction for the players. But the beach ball can really cause problems. For one it could cause problems if it makes it to the field during game play. It can also district batters bouncing around in center field. Either way what seems funny for a second can turn out to be really annoying. So do everyone a favor and keep your beach ball at the beach.
