The Team Salary Differences

It is really no surprise to see that some of the MLB teams in the league do not have the money that the others do. There can actually be quite a huge difference. Teams like the Yankees spend millions upon millions trying to win the pennant, while a team like the Pirates has an entire team payroll that matches just one of the Yankee players. These larger teams get more money from their owners, investments, ticket sales, merchandise sales and many other places. Also, it can be tough for a struggling team to raise money. When a team is struggling, ticket sales and merchandise sales can plummet. No matter what though, baseball is still baseball, no matter what the salaries are!
