MLB And The Struggling Economy

As the economy continues to struggle, so do some of the MLB teams out there. Teams like the Yankees may not have as much of a problem drawing fans in to see their big name players play in their new stadium. But other teams are struggling some for sure. Just recently the team’s owners all came together for their annual 2009 meeting. There was not anything that big on their agenda. But the one thing they all concurred on was that they needed to consider lowering tickets prices to draw in more fans. Money struggles will often cause people to cut going to the game out of the budget. So it seems to this blogger the best way to help is to cut prices or have discount nights.
