The Foul Ball

The foul ball is a great concept in a sense. Certainly the batter should be penalized a couple of strikes if he fouls the ball off. But never should he be dinged for the third strike as he fights to stay in the batters box looking for a much needed hit.
Watch out if you sit too close to the action. Foul balls can come off the bat fast and sharply. They could really hurt someone. So always be on your toes during the game if you sit anywhere where a foul ball could strike. You never know if you have your glove and are ready you could catch one, you could catch a memory that could last forever.
