The 2012 MLB baseball season looks to be a promising one. With another year between the league and many drug scandals, they look to have a good season in store for fans. Also with the near NFL strike and the NBA strike, fans may swing towards baseball as a safe haven for their families to enjoy uninterrupted by strike talk and scandals. The NBA was really affected by their strike. The MLB can win some of these fans over by making sure promotions and marketing run in that direction.
What can help the MLB in 2012? No more drug issues. Players also need to perform well to their capabilities if fans will be drawn to their stadiums to see them play. It will also help the season by steering clear of negative publicity as much as possible. With so many teams and players, there will probably be some negative issues to deal with. Just as long and they’re light in nature, it could be a great season to watch baseball.
